Karthikeyan is an experienced pragmatic leader with over 25 years in Pharmaceutical Industry and his career has spanned through both Innovative and generics pharmaceuticals. He is passionate about bringing medicines to market and his influential leadership trait has been instrumental to build and mentor global teams throughout his career.
Before Genvicure Therapeutics, he was the Vice President of Business Development at Appco Pharma LLC for North America and Vice President of Business Development and Regulatory affairs at Aizant Drug Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for Global Markets where his team surpassed budgeted targets with high number of out-licensing deals, drug product approvals and commercialization.
Earlier in his career, he had tenures at ACG Capsules, Sun Pharma, Strides Pharma, Dr. Reddys’ subsidiary – Aurigene Oncology, Jubilant Life Sciences where he led successful Business Development, Project Management, Regulatory Affairs and Computational chemistry across multiple therapeutic areas.
He holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan, Italy, M.Tech (Biotechnology) from VIT, Vellore, India and B.Pharmacy from Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical university, India.
